Senior Public Relations Manager

Role Description

Youll play a key role in shaping campaigns, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the agencys growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Leadership

• Lead PR strategy and execution for a portfolio of key clients
• Act as the primary client contactowning communication, trust, and results
• Translate business objectives into compelling PR narratives and campaigns

Media Relations & Storytelling

• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and creators
• Identify newsworthy angles and proactively pitch stories across print, digital, broadcast & social
• Secure high-quality media coverage and speaking opportunities

Campaign Planning & Execution

• Conceptualize and lead integrated PR campaigns, launches, and events
• Oversee press materials: press releases, media kits, pitch notes, bios, and op-eds
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Team & Agency Growth

• Mentor and manage Account Managers / Executives
• Review and elevate writing quality across the team
• Contribute to new business pitches, proposals, and agency positioning

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in PR, communications, or media (agency experience preferred)
• Proven success in securing national / top-tier media coverage
• Strong media network across lifestyle, business, fashion, entertainment, or relevant beats
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing presence
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
• Experience managing people and multiple accounts simultaneously
