Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

As assassinate Project Engineer, be Responsible for project communication, discipline coordination, scheme discussion and formulation, based in Chennai or Bangalore division.

Principal Responsibilities

• Performing project or task management functions as delegated by the Project Manager, including customer liaison, coordination of technical meetings, and general project supervision and coordination.
• Be responsible for the organization and management of the detailed design implementation, and check and control the project safety, quality progress and cost.
• Be responsible for the review and implementation of the overall project plan and decomposed operation plan;
• As the assassinate Project Engineer of the project organization, be responsible for the establishment of the project team and the internal role division and assessment of the project team members;
• Responsible for the approval of project drawings, procedures and schemes;
• Assist in monitoring Engineering Contractor project progress;
• Responsible for organizing project acceptance, project completion documents and work summary;
• Formulation and implementation of project operation strategy and scheme;
• Be responsible for the coordination and handling of major technical problems of the project;
• Be responsible for the coordination and handling of major technical problems of the project;
• Strictly implement the company's quality and management system;
• Complete other tasks assigned by superior leaders.

Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification

• Bachelor degree or above;
• More than 15 years of professional technical management experience in offshore oil and gas field engineering; at least 5 years experience as lead of Middle East offshore project, work experience in internationally renowned engineering companies, such as Technip, Worley, Wood, Flour, MCDERMOTT is preferred.
• Familiarity with oil and gas field development knowledge, offshore engineering knowledge, technical standards and specifications (including but not limited to API, ASME, SHELL, Qatar Energy corporate standards, Saudi Aramco standards), industry regulations and policies, and those with Middle East project experience are preferred;
• Familiarity with international project running system, client design concept, strong technical plan development and control ability, able to timely discover and solve problems, control and eliminate risks
• Proficiency use of office software, such as Microsoft Office\Adobe Acrobat\AUTO CAD etc.
