The Government and public sector transactions services is part of EY's Government & Public Sector (GPS) Services which is a network of highly skilled professionals from assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, devoted to serving the government and public sector organizations and institutions. 

The practice combines private sector leading practice with an understanding of the public sector’s diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services. Government and public sector transactions services, sits under EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team, working with leading businesses across a range of industries. This practice is in a unique position to deliver implementable strategies given the firm’s sector depth, transaction perspectives, and operational insights. 

The practice provides experience working with various sectors such as, Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory , Water waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities and Public Finance & Management.

_x000d_ Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

_x000d_ Policy Advisory: Provide Policy Advocacy to improve investment climate and enhance business competitiveness
_x000d_ Policy benchmarking (with respect to new/ amended domestic and international policies) of Industrial Policy and other policies under the ambit of the State Government on a regular
_x000d_ Drafting new policies as per the requirement (focus sector specific, upcoming sectors/ industries etc.) or as and when asked by Client. Define a broad-based action plan for implementation of policy procedures – structures, guidelines and rules etc.
_x000d_ Provide policy implementation advocacy and creating policy awareness among the industries in the state and globally.
_x000d_ Consultation with stake holders for assessing the needs of the investors, so as to incorporate in the policy
_x000d_ Devise methodology for investor feedback and surveys
_x000d_ Feedback activity should be continuous process at least 5 Industrial Units should be consulted every quarter
_x000d_ Analysis of International Policies and State policies should be incorporated in every quarterly report, the policy and sector to be analysed should be done in consultation with Client
_x000d_ Support for data analysis and formulation of MIS template for various sets of data in consultation with Client
_x000d_ Lead Generation and Conversion
_x000d_ Assist Client in lead generation
_x000d_ Assist in investment intention follow-up and grounding.
_x000d_ Investment / ‘Intention to Invest’ Follow-ups
_x000d_ Investment Promotion, Marketing and Branding Advisory
_x000d_ Work with Client to create an investor focused contact strategy and action plan to reach the targeted investors and to promote Tripura as a business location
_x000d_ Assist Client in Content/ Collateral/ Knowledge Creation and Management
_x000d_ Assist in creating/ revamping and updating Department of Industries &
_x000d_ Commerce/Single Window website and Investment Promotion Websites and Social Media pages
_x000d_ Assist Client in organizing Investors Summit
_x000d_ Assist Client in Post event activities
_x000d_ Support the Client in Participation in flagship program, schemes, PLI Schemes of Govt. of India, , World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Externally Funded projects

_x000d_ Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
_x000d_ Qualification

MBA/ equivalent management qualification.

_x000d_ Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy/consulting /advisory.

Should have experience of advising Government/ Corporates on strategic Projects.

Must have worked on the Investment Promotion and Policy formulation.
