Job Title: Senior Product Owner

Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

Business & Team: Chief Technology Office (CTO)- Cloud Modernization

As a Product Owner you will provide your expertise to Cloud Hosting Platforms crew is to enable all CBA Business Units to adopt cloud to deliver applications at scale by leveraging standard hosting patterns.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with engineers and crew leads to translate product vision, strategy and roadmap into actionable tasks and be responsible for delivery outcomes
  • Be a key point of contact with Business Stakeholders and other internal product teams to continually deliver value from the product and drive towards our strategic ambition
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, other product teams and Business Stakeholders to prioritize the backlog for the product that continuously delivers measurable value enabling the achievement of the business results
  • Expert and enterprise experience in AWS Public cloud IaC,  design patterns and operating behaviours of each:
  • Set and define the product strategy, vision, goals and roadmap, aligned to Crew objectives and purpose, and engage with key stakeholders to manage technical delivery.
  • Define the technology / architecture roadmap underpinning the product, aligned to Crew Tech Lead objectives, minimising tech debt and promoting the fast flow of value.
  • Coach the team towards more modern solutions – cloud first, software first.
  • Role model best practices and a learning focused culture to contribute to strategic practice development, coaching and up-skilling.
  • Lead and direct troubleshooting activities, demonstrating accountability for business and technical impacts.

Essential Tech Skills:

  • Minimum of 14+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Deep understanding of AWS cloud landscape
  • REST API services
  • Containers services
  • Serverless application
  • An interest in technical product challenges 
  • An obsession of solving customer problems, you love actively seeking out customers to understand their problems  
  • A curious mindset that drives you to ask and answer the ‘why’
  • Experience with iterative (agile) and/or lean design and development

 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
