About the Team and the Role

The Dash team at Ather is responsible for the electronic hardware and the HMI software platforms that collectively deliver the finest two-wheeler software-driven mobility and ownership experiences.

This role is for a Senior Product Manager - Software (Vehicle Dashboard & HMI Platform) who will take end-to-end ownership of these critical platforms, operating at the intersection of customer experience, design requirements, and engineering viability.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end product management ownership of the Vehicle Dashboard Hardware and HMI Software platforms.

• Serve as the internal customer advocate, engaging with users and insights teams to develop a clear product thesis and roadmap.

• Champion product strategy, long-term roadmaps, and product-market fit for new consumer experiences using data-informed insights.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on roadmaps and ensure successful feature delivery for new launches and fleet upgrades.

• Execute high-impact Go-to-Market strategies and continuously monitor customer engagement to drive product iterations.

• Own and curate detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and evangelize them within development teams for high-quality execution.

• Stay updated on competitor landscapes, industry trends, and technology advancements to inform complex decision-making.

• Identify actionable user behavior insights and maintain a tight feedback loop on usage patterns to discover constant product improvements.

Experience and Qualifications

• Graduation in Engineering; a Management degree is preferred but optional.

• 7 to 10 years of prior experience in product management for consumer experience products including Hardware and Software components.

Must Have Competencies

• Product Strategy and Roadmap Development for integrated hardware and software platforms.

• Technical Product Definition and curation of comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).

• Customer Advocacy and Information Synthesis to transform consumer insights into functional requirements.

• Cross-functional Leadership and Stakeholder Management to drive product execution and Go-to-Market strategies.

Good to Have Competencies

• Domain expertise in Automotive systems or new-age mobility solutions.

• Experience managing products within a high-growth start-up environment.

• Knowledge of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) design principles and electronic hardware lifecycles.

• Competitor and Market Intelligence analysis to solve complex product challenges and technology trends.
