The Team:
The S&P Global Commodity Insights Digital Product Management Pricing Team collaborates closely with Content Creators, Price Reporters, Operations, and users across the organization. The team serves as a bridge between internal customers and Technology, ensuring that requirements are captured, prioritized, executed, and delivered with high quality.

Responsibilities:
The Digital Product Management Pricing team collaborates closely with a range of internal stakeholders from both business and technical backgrounds, as well as with our internal and external customers, to develop and implement the roadmap for real-time market information delivery. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be the primary point of contact and information source for business inquiries. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a Senior Product Manager for multiple high-profile and impactful initiatives aimed at advancing Commodity Insights' next-generation market and pricing platforms.
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to create a comprehensive roadmap for the real-time delivery of market information and pricing solutions.
- Leading technology teams in executing the platform roadmap by leveraging your technical and project management expertise, refining user stories, managing the backlog, and understanding priorities and dependencies within a Scrum Agile framework.
- Crafting clear and effective user stories while taking ownership of the business vision and direction for Agile development teams.
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog based on business value and return on investment (ROI).
- Showcasing platform achievements to both internal and external stakeholders through demonstrations that effectively integrate technical and business aspects into engaging presentations.
- Collaborating with project sponsors, internal customers, Technology, and Finance to oversee project approval, scope, budget, and reporting on the health status of projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Formulating and implementing go-to-market strategies for product launches, establishing yourself as the subject matter expert on real-time content delivery.
- Coordinating with the broader Product team to ensure alignment across initiatives and to leverage existing technologies effectively.
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to facilitate clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, specifically as a Product Manager with expertise in System Design, Product Management, and Agile Software Development. Experience in the commodity information, utility, oil and gas, or financial technology sectors is highly preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of Product Managers.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering products/projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget. You take ownership of execution and consistently deliver tangible results and measurable success in your previous roles.
- Strong customer and business user mindset with a demonstrated ability to engage directly and honestly with customers on all issues, delivering a positive experience by fostering a partnership mindset and demonstrating sufficient subject matter expertise.
- Strong presentation skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and proficiency in translating business requests into clear technical requirements.
- High technical literacy with real-time delivery platforms and toolsets, with an understanding of core solution differences.
- Understanding of data within a complex enterprise system landscape, including data governance and quality.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, particularly under tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of emerging technologies in the digital space, such as Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
- Experience with Databases, Agile Scrum, and Lean Methodologies.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization, including senior-level project sponsors and other key stakeholders.
