Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the Enhanced Due Diligence Reports products. This role will be pivotal in shaping the product strategy and success of our flagship Due Diligence reports offering, which provides critical information and insights to clients on their higher risk customers, suppliers, business partners and investment targets. The ideal candidate will be an experienced product manager with deep expertise in Enhanced Due Diligence Reports, understanding of the regulatory environment, awareness of P & L management, and a consistent track record in leading complex product portfolios from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities
Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for LSEG’s Due Diligence Reports, incorporating the business’s vision into the scope, content, timeliness and quality of reports.
Develop innovative solutions that address emerging client needs and stay on top of evolving regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements while maintaining alignment with business goals and market demand.
Serve as the market-facing expert (SME) for the product aspects of our Due Diligence Report offerings. Regularly engage with clients, industry members and specialists to gather insights, share knowledge, and represent LSEG's product vision in external forums.
Drive financial performance and ensuring the product meets profitability targets. This includes working closely with Proposition on commercial pricing strategies and revenue growth initiatives, with Operations on cost management and with partners to increase the adoption of report integration into their workflow.
Work closely with teams across Product, Proposition, Partners, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure successful execution of product plans and timely delivery of high-quality reports.
Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics to inform product strategy and identify growth opportunities. Conduct regular competitive analysis to ensure the product maintains a competitive edge in the market.
Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring delivery of new features, improvements, and optimizations. Drive enhancements based on user feedback, data analysis, and changing market conditions. Use data and analytics to drive product decisions. Define and track key performance indicators and product metrics to assess product success and guide continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: At least 8+ years of EDD reports related work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles managing complex products.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of due diligence processes, regulatory environments. Experience managing products that are critical to decision-making or compliance.
Commercial awareness: Experience of developing business cases and using data to track product performance
Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus across diverse teams.
Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrated experience of engaging with clients and external key players to understand market needs, drive product adoption, and shape product strategy.
Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to assess market opportunities, customer needs, and product performance.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to present to executive teams and external clients effectively.
