Senior Product Manager - Transaction Banking

Debt Capitals Market team is part of the Wholesale Banking Group at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. The DCM teams works to structure & procure debt financing solutions across situations like vanilla balance sheet funding, project financing, government financing, sustainable solutions, sub-debt, securitization of receivables, acquisitions financing, Real Estate etc.

The role involves sales of corporate bonds to capital market investors viz. mutual funds, insurance companies, pension funds and active corporate treasuries. The person will also have additional responsibility of originating plain vanilla corporate bonds esp for credit rating of AAA to AA bucket which find good acceptance amongst capital market investors.

Key skills required:

• Good understanding of bond markets, pricing & macroeconomic developments that may affect pricing in the bond markets
• Regular interaction with the key capital market investors for placement of bonds/CP/PTCs
• Fair understanding of key term sheet asks from capital markets investors for vanilla bonds
• Regular interaction with corporates for placement of bonds and suggestions for structure/tranches, pricing negotiation & documentation to enhance demand from market
• Seamless interaction with Coverage, origination as well as execution team for successful placement of bonds
• Relationships:

External clients –Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies & NPS.

Internal clients- RMs, Execution & Origination Teams

• Qualifications: MBA (from top tier institutions); CA (rankers / first attempt) 
• Should have in-depth experience of bond sales – which shall involve working with the various investors 
• Strong relationship building capabilities
• Understanding of regulatory framework, legal and operational aspects relevant to debt raising and executing
• Should possess good Communication skills – both written & oral
• Term sheets and documentation negotiation
• Work Experience of 10 -12 years
