About StockGro

Founded in January 2020 by former venture capitalist Ajay Lakhotia, were well-funded. We are backed by some of the respected investors General Catalyst, BITKRAFT, Roots Ventures, and the likes of Kunal Shah, Vivekananda Hallekere, Rahul Garg as Angels. We have some brilliant minds with us, working on a mission to make 400 million Indian millennials investment-ready, with Senior Executives from Sequoia, Swiggy, Glance, Airtel, Uber, and institutions like ISB, NITs, and IIMs.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product design vision and strategy by identifying user and business opportunities; co-create solutions with the leadership team and drive them from ideation to execution.
• Operate with high autonomy , taking proactive ownership to solve complex user experience, product design, and business problems.
• Conduct continuous user research and usability reviews-- before and after shipping--across Web, iOS, and Android to validate assumptions and improve experiences.
• Drive end-to-end user experience design aligned tightly with business goals such as activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Partner closely with the CEO to define and refine core user journeys across different app modules.
• Collaborate with the Product and Tech leadership to translate business objectives into intuitive user journeys, well-defined product modules, and clear technical requirements.
• Work closely with UI designers and Front-End engineers to finalize designs, ensure feasibility, and maintain design quality across new and existing features.
• Proactively work with a user-first mindset while balancing speed, scalability, and business impact in a fast-moving startup environment.

Requirements:

• 4+ years' of experience as a Product Designer in designing user-focused fintech platforms focused on investments, trading, wealth management, or market analytics.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating experience with UI/UX design for web and mobile applications that reflects a good understanding of the financial and investing landscape of India
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business goals, user needs, and technical constraints
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design decisions to cross-functional teams
• Be a hustler and have excellent problem-solving skills; dynamic and charismatic with remarkable critical thinking skills
