As a Senior Product Associate within the Card Authorizations team, you will drive end-to-end execution for the product's vision and roadmap agenda. You will architect business solutions and analyze requirements that align with strategic objectives, partnering with product, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and integration of business architecture principles.

 
Job responsibilities 
 
 
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities through user research and discovery. 
  • Conduct detailed business analysis to identify and document requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of product vision, strategy, roadmap, technical, and operational aspects.
  • Develop and maintain business architecture and capabilities models reflecting product strategies and goals.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with business needs.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to business architecture and analysis findings.
  • Monitor Jira hygiene and enforce standards, tracking IT and non-IT work. Focus on risk and controls, partnering with various leads to confirm impacts and scope.
  • Manage product roadmap to align with budget and team availability. Release management and communication, proactive identification, and management of issues.
  • Manage dependencies inside and outside of the product area. Support continuous improvement across the team to drive efficiencies and improve agile effectiveness.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Architect, Business Analyst,
  • Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and technology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication at all levels.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with business modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of firmwide risk and controls, and project management standards.
  • Experience with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • Open to change, with ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 
  • Familiarity with business architecture principles and integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of global and line of business project and program management standards
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, with expert knowledge in business processes and technology disciplines
  • Experience in banking and payments is a plus.  
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods is advantageous.
