Senior Product Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Architect to own the end-to-end architecture of a next-generation multi-tenant SaaS platform spanning LMS, HRMS, and Supply Chain Management, enriched with AI-driven intelligence.

This role requires a deep technologist and product thinker who can translate business vision into scalable, secure, highly available, and extensible system architecture, while guiding engineering teams and influencing long-term platform strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & System Architecture

Design and evolve a multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS architecture supporting:

Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)

Supply Chain & Operations modules

Define modular, domain-driven architecture enabling independent scaling and faster product evolution.

Architect systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability (millions of users, thousands of tenants).

AI & Intelligent Systems

Design architecture for AI/ML-powered capabilities, including:

Recommendation engines (learning paths, talent matching)

Predictive analytics (attrition, demand forecasting)

Intelligent automation (workflows, approvals, alerts)

NLP-based chatbots and assistants

Integrate AI services using event-driven pipelines, feature stores, and model lifecycle management.

Ensure AI systems are explainable, secure, and compliant.

Performance, Scalability & Reliability

Architect for low-latency, high-throughput workloads.

Define caching, queuing, async processing, and data partitioning strategies.

Lead performance benchmarking, capacity planning, and system hardening.

Establish SLAs, SLOs, and observability standards (metrics, logging, tracing).

Cloud, DevOps & Security

Drive cloud architecture across AWS / Azure / GCP.

Design CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated scaling strategies.

Ensure enterprise-grade security:

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

RBAC / ABAC

Data encryption at rest and in transit

Compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA where applicable)

Product & Engineering Leadership

Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Heads, and Business Stakeholders to align architecture with product vision.

Create architecture blueprints, RFCs, and technical roadmaps.

Mentor senior engineers and tech leads on architecture and design best practices.

Review critical design decisions and ensure technical excellence across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Expertise

1218+ years in software engineering with 8+ years in architecture roles

Strong experience building enterprise SaaS platforms

Expertise in microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first design

Strong understanding of:

Distributed systems

Data consistency models

Multi-tenancy patterns

Deep experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, data lakes, and analytics systems

AI & Data Platforms

Hands-on experience integrating ML/AI models into production systems

Knowledge of:

ML pipelines & MLOps

Real-time & batch analytics

Vector databases and search systems

Experience working with data science teams to operationalize AI

Cloud & Infrastructure

Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containers, service meshes

Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, cloud queues)

Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

Architecture & Design

Strong command over:

Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Clean Architecture

SOLID principles

API & schema governance

Proven experience designing large, long-living platforms

Nice to Have

Experience in EdTech, HRTech, or Supply Chain platforms

Experience building platform products (not just applications)

Prior startup or scale-up experience

Experience with API marketplaces or ecosystem integrations

Exposure to multi-region / global SaaS deployments
