Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager Procurement with strong experience across manufacturing and engineering procurement, ideally from consumer-tech or startup environments. The role will lead to strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and supply assurance to support scale, speed, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end procurement for manufacturing, engineering, and indirect categories
Drive strategic sourcing, vendor onboarding, and contract negotiations
Build and scale supplier ecosystems suited for fast-growing startup environments
Lead cost reduction, value engineering, and should-cost initiatives
Ensure supply continuity, quality standards, and risk mitigation
Partner with engineering, supply chain, and production teams for NPI and scale-up
Set up procurement SOPs, governance, and compliance frameworks
Manage supplier performance, audits, and escalations
Required Skills & Experience
812+ years of experience in procurement within manufacturing / engineering setups
Exposure to consumer-tech / startup ecosystems preferred
Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills
Experience in domestic and international sourcing
Data-driven mindset with strong cost and performance analytics
Preferred Profile
Experience scaling procurement in high-growth startups
Exposure to Make-in-India, localization, and alternate sourcing strategies
Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
