Responsibilities
Process new insurance policies cover note premium calculations updates changes requested by policyholders and insurance company representatives modify existing policies and claims forms. Process cancellations review conformance to insured party specifications monitor lapsed policies and determine automatic reinstatement according to company policies. Obtain and verify information from policyholders on claims forms applications and related documents. Investigate analyze and assess extent of insurance companys liability concerning personal casualty or property loss or damages and attempt to effect settlement with claimants. Correspond with medical specialist agents witnesses or claimants to compile information. Calculate benefit payments and approve payment of claims set loss reserves manage loss adjustment expense coordinate activities for appropriate resolution of claims. Document and diary files as required processes workers compensation claims files necessary documentation with state agency.
