Cadence Hyderabad is looking to Hire PCB design Engineers.

About the Role

Experience in HIGH SPEED (Serial and Parallel) BOARD DESIGN and testing. Solid electrical engineering, digital & analog circuit fundamentals, and lab skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design of the module/products from requirement specifications.
• Estimate system power budget, Design of voltage regulators.
• Prepare detailed design document.
• Schematic entry in Allegro Oracad.
• Define board layout constraints, routing guidelines for PCB layout designers.
• Perform Signal integrity analysis.
• Review the PCB layout.
• Prepare engineering BOM.
• Review the design for DFM/DFT.
• Prepare detailed board bring up and validation plan.
• Perform board bring up and validation.
• Assist in performing system level compliance tests and safety tests.
• Define test functions for manufacturing testing.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience with BE/Btech/Diploma in electronics and communications Engineering.

Required Skills

• Proficient in designing systems with SoC, DDR2/3/4/5 Video and Audio stream interfaces.
• Good knowledge on USB, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, PCIE and MIPI/DP/HDMI interfaces.
• Familiarity with FPGA's, DSPs, microprocessors/Controllers, memories, LCDs, camera.
• Experience in defining stack up and routing strategy for boards.
• Experience in board bring up, testing and Design validation on products.
• Hands on experience in using high speed digital oscilloscopes, data analyzers and other test equipments.
• System Level knowledge involving Mechanical/Thermal solutions, EMI/EMC, Safety and hardware compliance tests will be a plus.
• Experience in Allegro ORCAD/Mentor Dx Designer schematic entry tool.

Preferred Skills

• Additional desired skills include: knowledge of transmission lines, cross talk, decoupling, low-power supply design, and layout of high performance PWBs.

Pay range and compensation package

Experience: 5-10 years.
