Job Title: Technical lead PCB Design

Location: Pune

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead PCB Design to lead the design and development of high-quality PCB layouts for automotive electronic products. The role requires strong technical expertise in PCB layout, signal and power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations, along with the ability to guide the engineering team in delivering reliable and manufacturable designs. The candidate will play a key role in design feasibility analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in PCB design with ORCAD, preferably in a senior level role.
• Strong understanding of PCB layout techniques, signal integrity, Power integrity, Thermal and EMC/EMI considerations.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC 2221, IPC 7351, IPC 2152)
• Familiar with DFx- DFA, DFM & DFT standards. Signal integrity and Power integrity tool knowledge such as Hyperlynx or any other tool is plus
• Conduct design feasibility studies to identify layout-related trade-offs on packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance for the engineering design team
• Designing and developing high quality PCB layouts for automotive electronic products

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in PCB design and layout using ORCAD.
• In-depth understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, thermal design, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Strong knowledge of IPC standards (IPC 2221, IPC 7351, IPC 2152).
• Familiarity with DFx methodologies (DFA, DFM, DFT).
• Experience with signal and power integrity analysis tools such as HyperLynx is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / EnTC
• 6 years of experience in PCB design, preferably in automotive electronics, with experience in a technical leadership role.
