Senior Principal SoC Functional Verification Engineer (G5)

NXP is seeking highly qualified candidates to join SOC Verification team as Senior Principal Verification Engineer! 

In this role, you will be responsible for owning and leading functional Verification of NXP SOCs and Sub-Systems using state of the art technology and methodologies. You will be engaged with the Architecture, IP providers, Design, DFT, backend and FW/SW teams to collaborate and execute to ensure first time right silicon.

• Understand the product requirements and Develop Verification plans to meet the Specification.
• Development of Pre-Silicon Verification environment.
• Rigorously executing Verification Plans to ensure Right First Time Success of our Products.
• Development of Subsystem/SoC Verification Env and Coverage plans.
• Demonstrate excellent Self–motivation, communication, strong problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Flexible enough to work in a dynamic environment and multitask seamlessly.
• Ability to work well as part of a team both locally, and with remote or multi-site teams

Key Skills

• Experience in Microcontroller and Microprocessor architecture, ARM Cores A/M/R series, Interconnect (NIC, FlexNoC), Cache Coherency.
• Experience in protocols like AHB/AMBA, AXI, ACE, OCP, Memory (Flash, SRAM, LPDDR/DDR3/4, SD, eMMC) and memory controllers
• Experience in automotive protocols like LIN, CAN, Multimedia/Networking protocols like PCIe gen3, MIPI CSI2, GPU, Automotive Ethernet (TSN), USB, DSP, Image/RADAR processing would be an advantage
• Experience with System Verilog/UVM for IP/Subsystem and SOC development environment.
• Verification using formal methods will be an added advantage.
• Execution experience on Emulation/FPGA models will be an added advantage
• Assembly programming skills
• Scripting and Automation (Perl, TCL, Python) to continuously improve operational efficiency
