Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in highspeed digital hardware / FPGA firmware design.
• Guide design teams on international standards, best practices, testing methodologies, and certification.
• Lead and organise design reviews, create specifications, and drive advanced engineering practices.
• Review and mentor junior engineers across hardware and firmware disciplines.
• Contribute to longterm technology roadmap, processes, and engineering methodologies.

Core Technical Skills

For Digital Electronics Roles

• Highspeed digital hardware design
• Highspeed PCB layout, EMI/EMC methodologies
• System engineering exposure (requirements, design, integration, verification)

For Firmware / FPGA Roles

• Languages: VHDL (Mandatory), C/C++
• FPGA Experience:AMD/Xilinx (Zynq 7000, Ultrascale+, Virtex, Kintex)
• Microchip/Microsemi (Polarfire, Polarfire SoC)
• Intel/Altera
• Interfaces:10G/25G/100G Ethernet
• PCIe, JESD204B, DDR
• SPI, UART, I2C
• Highspeed ADC/DAC interfaces, SERDES, LVDS, Parallel
• Tools: Vivado, Libero, Quartus
• Embedded: Zynq SoC PL & PS (ARM CortexA9/A53)
• Knowledge of DO254 (preferred)

Experience Required

• Senior Engineer: 10+ years
• Principal Engineer: 15+ years
• Strong experience in highspeed digital hardware or FPGA/Microcontroller firmware development
• Defence domain experience is an added advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics / Electrical / Software Engineering
• Deep knowledge of digital systems, firmware design, and system integration
