Analog Devices is currently seeking to hire a Senior Principal Engineer, Digital Design  to work in Analog Devices’ digital business Unit  located at Bangalore or Hyderabad. As part of dynamic team, you will work with a multi-functional engineering team to develop a range of subsystems, and system solutions for digital processing. You will be intimately involved in pushing the envelope of our digital processing capability as we embrace agile.


Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities: 

• As a technology leader, provide technical leadership to the development of complex subsystems or chips.

• To be a hands on agile technologist who will  focus on technical challenges from system level to micro-scopic level.

• Technically Influence various cross functional engineering  teams with high impact.

• Mentor and guide to design engineers of different experience range.

• Continuously push  the design methodology on an aggressive path aligned with technology roadmap

 

Qualifications:

•Bachelors/Masters/PhD in  engineering in Electronics/Computer Science  with 18-22 years experience.

•Experience leading complex digital design of IPs/SoC system architecture .

• Domain expertise in one of the system application areas in Industrial, Automotive, Communication etc  to drive design solution.

•Strong engineering background in embedded system design, including ASIC microarchitecture, computer architecture, SoC architecture, and custom or standard DSP or hardware accelerator microarchitecture.

•A deep understanding of SoC design flow is essential. Should be able to work with the Synthesis, Physical Design and Timing/Power Analysis teams closely

•Knowledge of embedded software development processes would be beneficial

•Detailed knowledge of ARM, Tensilica and/or RISC-V processor subsystem architectures, on-chip interconnects, and advanced debug and trace

•Experience with silicon and software product development and understanding the product development lifecycle

•Excellent communication skills, ability to work within a cross-functional, global team
