Job Description
Responsibilities
Design and implement effective database solutions and models. The role requires him/her to have wide knowledge over business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, modeling, database, and technical aspects of BI tools.
Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
Collaborate cross functional and cross-country teams to identify data integration sources and perform integration scenarios.
Must take responsibility and ownership of components/processes within the team and mentor the team members
Pragmatic approach to problem solving
Participate in development of key projects.
Provide status reports to client weekly.
