Senior Power BI Developer

Position : Senior Power BI Developer

Experience : 6+ Years

Location: Hyderabad

We are looking for a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our data analytics initiatives by delivering actionable insights through advanced Power BI visualizations and streamlined reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Azure Data Factory. Experience with Microsoft Fabric and .NET would be a valuable addition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Perform data modelling and transformation for optimal reporting
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align reporting needs
• Follow and enforce reporting best practices and documentation standards

Essential Requirements:

• Power BI : Proven experience in building complex reports and dashboards
• DAX : Strong proficiency in DAX for calculations and KPIs
• Data Modelling : Ability to design efficient data models in Power BI
• SQL : Skilled in writing complex SQL queries for data handling
• Azure Data Factory : Experience in building and managing ETL pipelines

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Microsoft Fabric : Exposure to Fabric components and integration techniques
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Ability to work closely with business and technical teams
• Documentation : Create and maintain thorough documentation of reports and processes
• .NET (Preferred) : Knowledge of integrating Power BI with .NET-based applications
