Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Impact & contribution:

Coordinates the definition of business and functional requirements and provides specialist support for projects and operations, gathers information, documents and analyses business needs and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes.

Liaises with stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organisation, and to recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes. 

  • Work with the Vendor to ensure the services are optimised for performance and scalability, addressing growth and user demands effectively. 

  • Implement monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and maintain security protocols to protect data and ensure compliance with regulations. 

  • Automate routine support tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve efficiency and eliminate manual effort.

  • Passion for automation, security and DevSecOps

  • Contributes to a culture where quality, excellence and openness are championed and works well in teams and have strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills:

  • 7+ years of practical, hands-on industry experience in a similar role.

  • Building and operating applications both on-premises, in cloud environments and SaaS.

  • You will be language agnostic, but you will be familiar with any of the following: React, Angular, Java, Python, Bash

  • Experience supporting .NET Framework applications, SQL and NoSQL experience (both admin and usage),

  • XCOM software and configuring secure flows,

  • CI/CD tooling (Github, Github Actions, Artifactory, Prometheus, Grafana, ServiceNow etc.) or equivalent

  • Have solid hands-on experience integration tools and frameworks e.g. Autosys scheduling, SFTP, and APIs (including skills like Open API, Redocly, Swagger, Kong, Akamai) – specifically related to SaaS applications

  • AWS Cloud experience and certification including Compute, Networking, Database Management and Infrastructure as Code,

  • Knowledge of IIS web servers and Microservices architecture, RabbitMQ administration and upgrade, TLS/SSL certificate management, including renewals and secure configuration.

  • Knowledgeable in Qualys report and vulnerability remediation, patching, configuration hardening, and compliance.

  • Domain knowledge with procurement systems including Fieldglass, Ariba will be a valuable

  • Decomposing complex problems down into manageable components

  • Have experience with the Full-cycle development and delivery using Agile practicesAble and willing to participate in hands-on configuration activities

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
