Role Name: Senior Platform Engineer – Cloud Productivity & amp Engineering (CPE)
Desired Experience Range: 8 years to 12 Years
Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
. 3-5 years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions.
. Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands on experience with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.
. Prior experience in roles such as Azure administration, development, or Azure-focused DevOps.
. Previous experience leading and/or mentoring Cloud teams/Communities of Practice/individuals.
. Expert knowledge with Azure Data Services & or operated as a Data Engineer/DBA/Data Scientist.
. Prior experience in one or more:
. Azure Machine Learning
. Azure Cognitive Services
. Azure Open AI Services
. Azure Data Factory
. Azure Databricks
. Azure Cosmos DB
. Azure Fabric
. Azure Purview
. Power BI
. Azure SQL
. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
. Experience in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices.
. Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Gitlab.
. Adept at collaborating in diverse teams, with excellent communication skills.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
. 8 years hands on experience with Windows/Linux Servers.
. Proactive incident management with Azure-based troubleshooting.
. Sound understanding of financial markets.
Education and Professional Skills
. Relevant Professional qualifications.
. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related STEM degree.
Detailed Responsibilities
. Lead and guide Azure platform data engineers, encouraging best practices in Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes.
. Engineer and optimize hybrid Azure Platform solutions with an inital data focus. Not limited to just d ata services and would need to integrate into surrounding and connectivity services.
. Collaborate with Azure Platform engineers, architects, and other stakeholders in the implementation of an Azure Data & AI Services.
. Provide expertise in IT operations areas, such as data governance and secuirty aligning with the overall Azure Platform strategy.
. Participate in Project related activities to meet operational needs.
. To ensure knowledge articles of all supported systems are continually updated.
. To provide a high level of customer service, whilst working under pressure.
. To follow and adhere to established Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management procedures.
