Role Profile
As a Senior Platform Engineer within the Infrastructure & Cloud team at LSEG, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and optimizing Cloud Products and Patterns. Working under the direction of the Azure Products Development Tech Lead, you will collaborate with both senior and junior platform engineers to ensure efficient and effective cloud infrastructure deployments. This role involves utilizing advanced cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, like Terraform, to enhance our cloud offerings.
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
Proficient in using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, specifically Terraform, to build and manage cloud resources effectively.
Experienced in setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for Terraform deployments.
Strong understanding of Cloud Native technologies, with a focus on Azure as the primary platform.
Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing actively to project planning and execution.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Familiarity with additional cloud service providers (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) is beneficial.
Ability to stay current with technology trends, experimenting with new tools and sharing knowledge within the team.
Skilled in enhancing cloud productivity frameworks to deliver secure, robust, and scalable solutions.
