• As a Senior Platform Automation Engineer within the Infrastructure & Cloud team at LSEG, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and optimizing Cloud Products and Patterns. Working under the direction of the Azure Products Development Tech Lead, you will collaborate with both senior and junior platform engineers to ensure efficient and effective cloud infrastructure deployments. This role involves applying advanced cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, like Terraform, to enhance our cloud offerings.

• Proficient in using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, specifically Terraform, to build and handle cloud resources efficiently.
• Experienced in setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for Terraform deployments.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Native technologies, with a focus on Azure as the primary platform.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing actively to project planning and execution.
• Proven track record to approach challenges with an open and innovative attitude, with a strong aim to build new tools and solutions that enhance user experience, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to solve sophisticated systems and automate solutions.
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation for tools and processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with multi-functional teams.

• Familiarity with additional cloud service providers (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) is beneficial along with Azure.
• Ability to stay ahead of with technology trends, experimenting with new tools and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Skilled in enhancing cloud productivity frameworks to deliver secure, robust, and scalable solutions.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, Yaml, Go.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, for effective collaboration within a team setting.

• Collaborate with the Azure Products Development Tech Lead and other team members to develop and refine cloud solutions.
• Apply Terraform and other IAC tools to ensure consistent and efficient deployment of cloud resources across multiple environments.
• Support the integration of cloud solutions with existing systems, ensuring they meet the strategic business needs.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of workflows and project work you're doing.
• Share technical expertise with both senior and junior team members, helping to guide project direction and resolve technical challenges.
