Role: Senior Piping Engineer - MicroStation

Experience: 10-15 Years

Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech

Responsibilities:

• Guided & instructed project teams for projects
• An effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills, strong analytical leadership, decision-making, problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated experience in handling piping materials, piping layouts preparation, stress isometric, fabrication isometric, piping bill of material, preparation of equipment and piping
• Execute complex feasibility studies of proposed projects with process improvements
• Effective in Inter Departmental Coordination for on-going projects
• Review Client documents for techno commercial accuracy
• Ensure compliance of Project from concept to completion to Client Basis of Design, scope of work, contract, company specifications, class rules and standards
• Correspond with clients, vendors in progress review meetings and model reviews
• Review Client comments, incorporate valid ones and justify to Client on rejected comments
• Prepare Project specific Master Engineering Deliverable list.
• Conduct the weekly technical discussion with Engineering and finalize the Deliverables
• Monitoring piping activities and completion in accordance with schedule requirement
• Review of 3D model in Navisworks for constructional ease, clash rectification, operational requirements, and process requirements
• Possesses strong knowledge of ASME Codes and Standards
• Review & contribute to preparation of Piping Design documents & drawings (Piping calculations & specifications, P&ID, Tie-ins list, vendor drawings)
• Prepare and review plot plan arrangements (onshore & offshore), FPSO General Arrangements, Equipment and piping layouts, Isometrics, GAs, as per P&ID and PMS
• Review of preliminary and final Piping MTO and Valve MTO, Support MTO, Weight control

Software Expertise:

• 2D-Microstation
• S3D, E3D, Plant 3D, PDMS, CADWorx will be added advantage
• Knowledge on ISOGen and Marian Loading will be added advantage
