Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform design activities for offshore pipelinesin all phases of the project (fromConcept design to Execution phase) in collaboration within the pipelineteam.
2. Provide specialist skills,integrity and knowledgein key area of subsea pipeline engineering, including design codes andcurrent best engineering practices.
3. Produce and check deliverables, which may include:
4. Design calculations

• Mechanical Design Calculation
• Free Span and Span Correction
• On Bottom Stability
• Fatigue Calculation
• Seismic Analysis
• Upheaval and LateralBuckling

1. Progress reports
2. Alignment Sheet
3. Plot Plan
4. Approach Drawing
5. Cathodic Protection
6. Installation Engineering
7. Various third-party submissions
8. Jumper and Spooldesign
9. Hydraulic Analysis:
10. Steady State
11. Transient Modelling
12. Stress Analysisin CASER II including seismicanalysis
13. Buckling Analysisin ABAQUS
14. Reviewing / Producing Materialspecification:
15. Line pipe
16. Induction Bends
17. Fittings
18. Coating
19. Valves

21. Attend design review meetings, Engineering Interface meetings etc. with Clients/Contractors, as required.
22. Liaise with pipeline designers providing required input for pipeline drawings.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

1. Proficiency in listed design and analysis software is essential
2. ABAQUS
3. Math CAD Sheet
4. CAESAR II
5. Pipeline Studio (Good to have)
6. Hysys (Good to have)
7. Good knowledge of subsea pipelineengineering, including industrystandard codes like ASME B31.4,31.8/ API codes etc.
8. Relevant engineering experience within the oil and gas industry, especially subsea pipelines
9. Working knowledgeof hydraulic modelling softwareis considered advantage
10. A committed team player able to workon own initiative with minimumsupervision

1. B. E / B. Tech Mechanical / Civil Engineering
2. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in design and analyses of Subsea Pipelinesin Oil & Gas industry.
3. Experience in industry accepted Design/Analysis software packages for Pipeline Design
4. Conversant with applicable DNV, ASME, BS, API and other relevant International Codes/Standards for subsea pipeline design and engineering.
5. Attend design review meetings, Engineering Interface meetings etc. with Clients/Contractors, as required.
6. Liaise with pipeline designers providing required input for pipeline drawings.
