At Framed, every image is a story not just a frame. We dont believe in slapping on presets or applying batch edits that strip photos of their essence. We believe in editing with intent understanding what the image is trying to say, and then using light, color, tone, and crop to let it speak louder.

Were looking for a Senior Photo Editor who approaches every image like a scene from a film who understands mood, rhythm, visual balance, and emotional timing. Someone who can spot not just the sharpest image but the most meaningful one.

This is not a mechanical role its a creative leadership position. Youll be responsible for shaping the final visual output of hundreds of shoots across weddings, portraits, and commercial work. Youll also play a critical role in mentoring younger editors, building editing SOPs, and maintaining consistency across a growing team.

Your Responsibilities

• Visual Curation : Select images that communicate story, emotion, and design not just whats technically good.
• Grading & Mood Creation: Apply color grading that enhances narrative tone cinematic, warm, raw, or timeless without resorting to templated presets.
• Bulk Editing Mastery: Work efficiently on large sets while maintaining a high level of consistency and visual polish.
• Style & Consistency Checks : Ensure every delivery (weddings, products, lifestyle shoots, portraits) is on-brand and up to the mark.
• Team Mentorship : Lead junior editors, review their work, and upskill them to meet Frameds visual benchmarks.
• Creative Syncing : Collaborate with photographers and the Creative Director to align edits with shoot intent and brand tone.
• System Thinking : Suggest and help implement better workflows, file-naming structures, and QA processes to streamline the department.

Key Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry
• Deep understanding of composition, light, and story through images
• High-level command over Lightroom (for both batch and individual edits)
• Strong expertise in Photoshop (cleanup, cloning, color correction, retouching)
• Exposure to cinematic grading approaches
• Ability to replicate and adapt grading styles as per brand guidelines
• Experience with high-volume editing (weddings, commercial, or editorial)

This is a leadership-track role with potential to grow into Head of Post-Production. Youll be shaping the aesthetic direction of hundreds of shoots, mentoring future editors, and working closely with our creative leads on brand-defining visuals.

Compensation

Ranging anywhere between Rs 40,000 - Rs 50,000 Based on experience and skill.
