Senior Performance Engineer-Load Runner

Responsibilities:

• Participates in Agile ceremonies providing Story points and estimates for the tasks.
• Develop and maintain new and available performance scripts on Load runner and JMeter . 
• Should have detail knowledge of different protocols of performance test scripts to decide which needs to be used.
• Demonstrate experience on asking right questions for Non Function Requirements and decision making for all new tests.
• Scripting, execution analysis and report publish of all performance test.
• Assist in planning, creation and control of test environments and test data. 
• Improvement of reporting framework for better coverage/readability. 
• Co-ordinating with functional members/Dev/BA's to validate NFRs.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years working as Performance Engineer with proven experience of implementing performance engineering activities to support agile projects.
• More than 6 years of experience in scripting of LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Need good experience on AppDynamics and Kibana for performance monitoring.
• Good to have experience in OpenShift and microservices performance testing.
• Should have detailed knowledge of Heap Dump and Thread Dump analysis to find performance bottlenecks.
• Good to have experience of Banking, Finance domain or Payments domain(Preferred).
• Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies 
• Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile development process with experience specifying, establishing and managing the test data via test automation utilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the application development, BA, Architect teams.
• Ongoing knowledge of performance  testing industry best practices and trends. 

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Technical Skills:

• Must-haves : Candidate must be very strong and proficient in working with following technologies/tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Performance center, AppDynamics, Kibana, Openshift, Java
• Good to have skills: SAFE concepts
