What will I be doing at Ather?

• Lead PQ activities for given projects by defining  Validation of CAD data for Perceived Quality aspects.

•  Geometry & Appearance attribute of Perceived Quality 

•  Set aesthetical targets for Gap, flush, Radii and Ball Corners on complete vehicle and parts along with Dimensional engineering during DTS specification.

•   Be part of the Target setting team and highlight consequences of program decisions

•  Perform perceived quality attribute reviews on competitor product benchmarking.

• Gather & analyse customer feedback from various sources and provide feedback for quality improvement. Identify common customer complaints and use data analysis techniques to identify trends and patterns in customer feedback.

•  Set Vehicle level PQ target with defined rational behind.

•  Conduct Virtual and physical vehicle assessments during development phases

•  Report status of PQ attribute to line and project management ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner 

• Provide technical input to design and engineering in development of robust solutions that deliver attribute requirements

•  Assess PQ attributes at Supplier locations for off process and off tool results.

• Material knowledge

• GD&T and Stackup analysis

• Driving development of A-class surface related craftsmanship.

• Target setting for gap/flush and acceptable tolerance level.

• Integration between Design, Body Engineering, DVA, Suppliers and Manufacturing,

• color assessment to ensure accurate color perception.

• Develop and implement color management systems to maintain accurate color reproduction.

• Understand the interaction between components (locating & fixing strategy + GD&T required as prerequisite) to predict their behaviors in extreme scenarios.

• creating the sketchbooks, concept sections and competitor benchmarking

•  influencing design studio to implement best fit and finish.
