Key Responsibilities

Hardware Design & Development
Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
Create schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
Perform component selection, derating analysis, and BOM optimization.
Design power supply circuits (LDO, Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost).
Handle high-speed interfaces (SPI, IC, UART, USB, Ethernet, CAN, RS-485, LVDS, etc).
PCB Design & Layout
Design 2-layer to multi-layer PCBs considering signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC.
Apply DFM/DFA/DFT guidelines for manufacturability and testability.
Review Gerber, ODB++, pick-and-place, and fabrication drawings.
Coordinate with EMS vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly.
Board Bring-Up & Debugging
Perform board bring-up, power sequencing, and initial hardware validation.
Debug hardware issues using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, spectrum analyzer.
Support firmware teams during integration and testing.
Identify root cause issues and implement corrective actions.
Testing & Validation
Conduct functional, environmental, and reliability testing.
Support EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing and design fixes.
Validate designs as per industrial, automotive, or consumer standards (as applicable).
Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare detailed design documents, schematics, test reports, and application notes.
Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills

5+ years of hands-on experience in electronic hardware design.
Strong expertise in Altium Designer (schematic capture, PCB layout).
Good understanding of analog & digital electronics.
Experience with microcontroller, Microprocessor and FPGA based designs (STM32, NXP, TI, Microchip, AMD etc.).
Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC basics.
Experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging.
