Senior PaaS Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior PaaS Developer / Oracle VBCS & OIC Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and integrating them with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure applications using Oracle VBCS.
• Develop custom applications, extensions, and workflows using Oracle PaaS – VBCS and Oracle Java Cloud Service.
• Build custom objects, UI components, and business logic to enhance Oracle Fusion functionality
• Integrate VBCS applications with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other Oracle Cloud services.
• Design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party applications using OIC.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Implement UI/UX best practices and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop and consume REST APIs for seamless integrations.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
• Stay up to date with Oracle Cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Skills & Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in developing applications using Oracle VBCS.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and related Oracle PaaS services.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Oracle JET.
• Expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs and working with SOAP-based services.
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for database interactions.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication mechanisms for secure integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Cloud PaaS development, including VBCS and OIC.
• Experience with Oracle SaaS applications is a plus.
• Oracle Cloud certification(s) in VBCS, OIC, or OCI is a plus.
