Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with 8+ years of strong hands-on experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle Financials modules. The ideal candidate will serve as a functional lead for finance transformation initiatives, owning solution design and delivery across accounting, reporting, and compliance domains.

This role requires deep functional expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with finance leadership, IT teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Oracle EBS Financials implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.

Own functional design and configuration for core finance modules including:

o General Ledger (GL)

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

o Fixed Assets (FA)

o Cash Management (CM)

o Treasury (as applicable)

Design and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and asset management processes.

Conduct business process workshops, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis.

Configure accounting setups including chart of accounts, ledgers, calendars, and currencies.

Support period close, consolidation, reconciliation, and statutory reporting processes.

Support bank integrations, payment formats, and electronic bank statements.

Integrate Financials with SCM, Projects, and third-party systems.

Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, and extensions.

Lead and execute testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT).

Support data migration, conversion, and cutover activities.

Provide post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement support.

Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.

Partner with finance leadership and accounting teams to drive process improvements.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

8+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS Financials functional consulting experience.

Strong expertise in:

o GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management

Proven experience in at least 23 full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementations.

Deep understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.

Experience working in multi-org, multi-ledger, and multi-currency environments.

Experience supporting integrations with banks and external financial systems.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA).

Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials or hybrid EBSCloud environments.

Experience with Hyperion, OBIEE, or financial reporting tools.

CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification.

Oracle Financials certifications.
