Senior Odoo Functional Consultant

Grow Your Staff is looking for a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant for a leading ERP solutions provider based in the UK. The position is a full-time opportunity in Ahmedabad, India , or for those who are willing to relocate.

The role will have excellent growth opportunities. You will work directly with the team based in the UK .

Experience: 4-6 years

CTC: INR 10-18 LPA

Location: On-site (Ahmedabad)

Time: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Perform customer data imports into Odoo, including data cleansing, validation, transformation, and documentation of mapping processes.
• Analyse and troubleshoot data migration issues, conduct quality checks, and collaborate with technical teams for resolutions.
• Gather and document client business requirements, perform process mapping, and convert findings into functional/technical documentation.
• Configure relevant Odoo modules and execute unit/regression testing with QA teams to ensure solution quality.
• Provide end-user training, create supporting documentation, and offer second-line functional support for client issues.
• Monitor Odoo version updates, maintain e-learning scripts, and create video tutorials demonstrating processes and module changes.
• Produce academy-ready or marketing-ready content to support internal learning and client education.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders for progress updates, issue tracking, and successful delivery.
• Support presales activities such as functional demonstrations and participate in strengthening client relationships.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help upskill junior team members.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation or functional consulting.
• Strong expertise in business process analysis and documentation.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data cleanup).
• Experience with data import/export, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and propose structured solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with QA teams during testing phases.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Odoo certification or formal Odoo Functional training (preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL and version control tools (Git).
• Experience with e-learning systems, instructional design, or video creation is an advantage.
• Prior experience in technology consulting or ERP environments is beneficial.
