Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer (Technical Lead Hands-On) to join our Noida team.

This is a coding-first leadership role. You will lead technology through the quality of your thinking and the clarity of your code shaping backend architecture, setting engineering standards, and building systems that are resilient, scalable, and considered.

You will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate complex requirements into clean, dependable backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services using Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js with TypeScript
• Write and maintain production-grade code with a focus on clarity, performance, and reliability
• Lead backend architecture and technical decision-making
• Build and evolve REST APIs and service layers
• Design and manage data models using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL
• Implement and operate cloud-native systems on AWS, including serverless architectures
• Ensure systems are secure, observable, and scalable
• Review code and guide engineering quality through example
• Collaborate within Agile teams using Jira
• Manage source control, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows using GitHub
• Integrate with third-party services and internal platforms where required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building backend systems with Node.js
• Strong command of TypeScript, Nest.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript
• Solid experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and relational database design
• Experience designing and running systems on AWS, including serverless services
• Strong understanding of API design, backend architecture, and scalability patterns
• Comfortable leading technical direction while remaining deeply hands-on
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborative teams
• Clear communicator with a considered approach to problem-solving
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Bonus Experience

• Experience building integrations or workflows using Slack SDK (Bolt for JavaScript)
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and real-time integrations
• Exposure to designing internal tools or collaboration platforms

Compensation

10 LPA 12.0 LPA, based on experience and technical depth.
