Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Node.js Developer who will take responsibility for leading the development team and providing technical guidance on Node.js development.

Experience Level:

More than 6 years

Preferred Qualification:

Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field with experience.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong hands-on skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience in leading or technically owning delivery within a development team.
• Deep expertise in AWS, focusing on:

1. Load Balancer (ALB/NLB) management
2. AWS WAF setup and operations
3. Security and scalability in cloud-native applications

• Production experience with MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and complex backend integrations.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Nice to Have:

• Interest in learning Go (Golang) and expanding backend technology skills.
• Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Exposure to IoT or Smart Home platforms.
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, React, or similar.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of up to 5 backend developers, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with the system architect to drive platform evolution and long-term technical decisions.
• Actively contribute to development, architecture discussions, and code quality initiatives.
• Define and plan technical work in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Promote engineering excellence, including clean code, peer reviews, testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Provide mentoring, support, and guidance to team members.
