Deloitte Bangalore is hiring Senior Node.js Developer (9+ Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Designer with deep expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role involves designing and implementing robust APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions for enterprise-grade systems in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks (preferably Fastify).
• Architect integration solutions leveraging modern design patterns and API management tools (preferably Kong).
• Implement event streaming and processing using platforms like Kafka .
• Build and optimize microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Codefresh.
• Work extensively in AWS environments , leveraging its ecosystem for scalable deployments.
• Apply TDD practices , manage code through Git , and conduct peer reviews for quality assurance.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for automated deployments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Node.js development, API design, and AWS ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of integration design and patterns .
• Hands-on experience with API managers (preferably Kong).
• Expertise in event-driven architectures and Kafka-based integrations .
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js , with additional experience in Java or Python .
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling , container orchestration, and scripting languages (Bash, Terraform).
• Solid knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in incident management .
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
