Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, andmaintainrobust backend services for large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Develop scalable REST andGraphQLAPIs using Nest.js (Node.js) .
• Work with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases with optimized schema design and performance.
• Architect and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement andmaintainevent-driven systems with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Kinesis.
• Utilize AWS cloud services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Cognito) for building secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Apply Clean Architecture / Hexagonal Architecture withappropriate designpatterns.
• Implement observability using logging, metrics, and distributed tracing frameworks.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and overall engineering processes.
• Perform in-depth code reviews and ensure code quality, testing coverage, and secure coding practices (SAST/DAST).
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and AI teams to deliver integrated features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with strongexpertisein Node.js and Nest.js .
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience buildingGraphQLand REST APIs.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, and optionally MongoDB/DynamoDB.
• Deep understanding of microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Cognito).
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Clean/Hexagonal architecture and software design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
• Working knowledge of observability tools (metrics, logs, tracing).
• Awareness, exposure, or hands-on experience with AI models, AI API integration, fine-tuning, embeddings, or model orchestration is a strong added advantage.
