Position: Senior NMS Developer

Role Overview

As a Senior Network Management System Developer , you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the NMS platform supporting LEO Lightspeed networks . The role requires working within an Agile SAFe framework to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality CNMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance OSS/NMS systems for resource management, service monitoring, and fault management.

Lead technical design and integration for Lightspeed network management solutions.

Collaborate with vendors and ensure solutions align with industry standards.

Maintain comprehensive CNMS documentation for transparency and operational efficiency.

Develop YANG modules for modular resource and fault management functions.

Design and maintain automated test suites for CNMS validation.

Define and enforce network security standards; contribute to system-level modeling.

Required Skills & Experience:

510 years of experience in technical design and development roles.

Expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols, gRPC/gNMI/gNOI, HTTP/2, and mTLS.

Strong programming experience in Python 3.x and BDD-based test frameworks.

Hands-on experience with Linux environments, containers, and YANG/NMTS XML, YAML, JSON .

Familiarity with Netcracker, ONAP, Blue Planet, or Amdocs OSS/NMS tools.

Knowledge of IP, MPLS, SR-MPLS, Ethernet, VLAN, MEF, and TMF standards.
