Senior Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Network & Security Engineer who has hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud network infrastructures across leading Hyperscalers such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI . The role involves ensuring network reliability, optimizing performance, and strengthening security posture in cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Networking

• Design, configure, and manage Azure VNets or AWS VPCs , subnets, routing tables, NAT, and peering.
• Implement and support VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway , and hybrid connectivity.
• Manage load balancers (ALB/NLB/Azure LB/App Gateway) and traffic routing mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues using tools like Network Watcher, CloudWatch, Wireshark , etc.

Cloud Security

• Configure NSGs, NACLs, WAF, firewall policies , and cloud-native security controls.
• Support deployment and monitoring of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall).
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and zero-trust principles.
• Detect and respond to security events related to network traffic.

Operational Activities

• Support incident, change, and problem management processes for cloud network & security operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for cloud implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
• Maintain strong documentation network diagrams, troubleshooting guides, runbooks.
• Participate in 24x7 operations , on-call rotations, or shift-based support (if applicable).

Required Skills

• 28 years of experience in cloud networking and security operations.
• Strong knowledge of Routing, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, DNS, DHCP .
• Hands-on experience with Azure Networking or AWS Networking (either or both).
• Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals .
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as: AZ-700, AZ-104 (Azure) // AWS Advanced Networking, AWS Solutions Architect // CCNA / CCNP / Network+
• Experience with large-scale cloud environments or managed services providers.
