Title: Senior Network Administrator

Location: Noida, UP OR Ahmedabad, Gujarat Gujarat (100% Onsite)

Shift: Rotational Shift (Including Night Shift)

Must-Haves:

Hands-on experience in managing Palo Alto firewalls.

Hands-on experience with BGP

Hands-on experience in designing network solutions

CCNP level of experience or CCNP certificate

Description:

As a network administrator, you focus on the ongoing management and maintenance of the existing network infrastructure. You monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security measures to protect the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design network configurations, including LANs, WANs, networks (medium complexity tasks)
• Provides design and solutions appropriate and as required by the project in all networking aspects.
• Implements move, add, and change as required by clients with close coordination with the IT operations team.
• Meets and coordinates in a regular manner for technical updates, issues, and resolutions with the IT COE Manager, Special Projects Manager, and general IT. Management and client (internal / external)
• Install and configure network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points).
• Set up and manage virtual private networks (VPNs) for secure remote access
• Perform software and hardware upgrades and other maintenance tasks
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (P3-P5 priority tickets; support for P1-P2 incident tickets)
• Provides support with the internal IT Network Operations team for escalated issues and in-progress projects.
• Maintain network documentation and keep records of updates and changes
• Act as a second point of contact to provide technical expertise and support related to network infrastructure to other technology stack teams
• Support global security audits by collecting and providing the requested evidence.

Functional Competencies

• Strong experience in managing Firewall (Palo Alto preferred)
• Strong experience of network protocols, routing (BGP) and switching
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of network security, backup & recovery principles and best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a network role or equivalent
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related fields
