About the Role

Were building a new, early-stage product and assembling a small, high-ownership core team .

As a Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) , youll own the mobile experience end to end - from core user flows to polish and performance. This role is central to how users experience the product and how quickly we can iterate post-MVP. Were looking for someone who enjoys building real products used daily , cares about UX quality, and wants influence beyond just implementing designs.

What Youll Do

Primary Responsibilities

• Own the mobile app built in Flutter across Android and iOS
• Implement and evolve core user journeys:
• Profiles & network interactions
• Opportunities (tasks, pools)
• Insights dashboards
• Referrals (Phase 1.5)
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design clean API contracts
• Translate product requirements into intuitive, performant mobile experiences
• Ensure app performance, stability, and responsiveness
• Improve UI polish, edge cases, and user experience post-MVP
• Gradually take ownership of mobile codebase from the agency build

Secondary Responsibilities

• Contribute to product discussions and UX decisions
• Identify areas to simplify flows or improve engagement
• Help define mobile best practices as the team grows

What Were Looking For:

Must-Have

• 47+ years of mobile development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Flutter
• Experience shipping and maintaining production mobile apps
• Solid understanding of:
• State management
• API-driven apps
• Authentication flows
• App lifecycle & performance
• Comfortable working in early-stage, fast-changing environments
• Product mindset - you think about why , not just how

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with marketplace, fintech, or network-driven apps
• Familiarity with mobile app performance optimisation
• Experience working closely with backend teams
• Exposure to CI/CD for mobile apps
