ISIR.AI is expanding its Marine & Coastal Division and is looking for an experienced Senior Metocean Engineer / Coastal Modeler to join our dynamic and growing team.

We are seeking professionals with strong expertise in hydrodynamic modeling, metocean data analysis, and Python-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrodynamic modeling of wind, wave, current, and water levels using MIKE 21 / MIKE Zero suite.
• Perform return period and extreme event analysis (cyclonic and non-cyclonic).
• Cyclonic modeling, including cyclone track, storm surge etc.
• Model wave dynamics, wave transformation, and wave penetration studies
• Sediment transport, coastal morphology changes, EIA studies, and modeling.
• Validate models with observed and satellite datasets.
• Automate data preprocessing and post-processing using Python.
• Prepare technical reports with a very high standard of quality and visualizations for regional and international projects.

Required Skills & Tools

• MIKE 21 / MIKE Zero (HD, SW, ST, Coupled Modules)
• Python for metocean data analysis, visualization, and automation
• Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, wave mechanics, and coastal processes
• Familiarity with return period statistics and extreme value analysis
• Experience in handling ERA5, ECMWF, or similar reanalysis datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.Tech in Ocean Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Science, or related fields
• 710 years of experience in applied metocean or coastal modeling
• Demonstrated experience in offshore energy, LNG, or port development projects
