Senior Merchandiser

Key Accountabilities :

1. To achieve 100% On Time and in Full delivery of all orders as per P2 Plan.
2. To ensure the material cost is per the target shown in P&L.
3. Cost sheets to be updated and work toward achieving targeted profit from operations.
4. Order completion report should be prepared within one week from date of dispatch.
5. To lead special projects as when assigned for example minimizing wastages / scrap from production and find alternate means to consume these wastages, introducing robotics in ware housing, Electronic Data Interface with buyers etc.

1. Ensuring timely creation of Sales Order numbers for new orders and sharing buyer Purchase Order and Sales Order numbers with relevant departments within 24 hours.

2. Developing Bill of Materials (BOM) promptly for repeat and new orders, including Cubic Meter details within specified timeframes.

3. Creating Time and Action Calendar (TNA) within 72 hours of order confirmation.

4. Updating cost sheets, generating Material Requirement (MREQ) requests within 2-3 days of order receipt, and identifying orders below 25% contribution as RED for cost improvement efforts.

5. Securing approvals for fabric and pre-production samples from buyers.

6. Adhering strictly to the First PC Approval and First Fifty PC Approval processes with the Quality Control (QC) team.

7. Maintaining regular communication with planning and production teams to achieve 100% On-Time-In-Full delivery.

8. Collaborating closely with Planning and Production departments in P1 and P2 plan preparation to achieve 100% On-Time-In-Full delivery as per P2 plan.

9. Work closely with production and planning department to prepare annual production plan.

10. To work closely with supply chain team and also individually and identify new vendors for cost reduction and better quality of all purchases.

11. To ensure that the material consumption, material cost and other targeted costs are achieved as per the P&L targets.

12. Work closely with business team and operations team to prepare annual marketing and operation plan.

HE IDEAL CANDIDATE will have :

• B.Tech /M.Tech (Textile) from a reputed institute with over 7 years of related experience
• Professional knowledge and experience in the merchandising and business development.
