Universal Textile Mills, based in Attibele, Bengaluru Rural, is a 50-year-old company engaged in the manufacture and export of luxury fabrics for home decoration. We are a team of about 350 people, and part of a larger group that includes Jaipuria Silk Mills Pvt. Ltd. and VAYA Home .

Role Description Merchandiser (Full-Time, On-Site)

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Merchandiser , located at our facility in Attibele, Bengaluru Rural.

The Merchandiser will be responsible for:

• Overseeing day-to-day merchandising operations
• Coordinating with international and domestic clients, our internal production teams, and external vendors
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Managing all client sampling requirements in a timely and organised manner
• Coordinating with our internal teams for quality control of colour and pattern

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Prior experience in merchandising or a related role is preferred
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Textiles, or a related field is an advantage
• Excellent English (spoken and written) with correct grammar is essential
• Basic knowledge of textiles is mandatory
• Working knowledge of Kannada and Hindi is essential

Compensation

• CTC range: 6,00,000 to 7,50,000 per annum , depending on experience.

Location & Commute

Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Attibele, BTM Layout, Electronic City, Koramangala , etc.

We provide staff transportation: our company bus starts from Raheja Arcade, Koramangala , with a few designated stops en route to the factory.
