As part of our continued growth in the global apparel market, we are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Merchandiser to join our Woven Garments Export Division.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, buyer management experience, and the ability to independently drive end-to-end order execution within a fast-paced export environment.

Role Overview:

The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing key international accounts, ensuring seamless coordination from product development through shipment, and maintaining strong alignment between buyers and internal teams to achieve delivery excellence and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial & Buyer Management:

Independently handle international buyers

Prepare accurate costing sheets and support commercial negotiations

Review order margins and ensure profitability alignment

Maintain proactive and solution-driven buyer communication

Product Development & Sampling:

Coordinate product development from tech pack to sample approval

Manage Proto, Fit, PP, Size Set & TOP samples within agreed timelines

Work closely with sourcing teams for fabric & trims development

Ensure technical clarity and compliance with buyer standards

Production & Execution:

Prepare and monitor T&A calendars to ensure on-time delivery

Coordinate with production, planning, QA & logistics teams

Track bulk production status and proactively resolve challenges

Ensure shipment documentation and compliance are completed accurately

Operational Excellence:

Maintain order tracking systems and reporting discipline

Support process improvements for efficiency and cost optimization

Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance workflow and execution speed

Qualifications and Skills:

610 years of experience in woven garment export merchandising

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Design, Business, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of fashion trends, textiles, and garment construction techniques.

Proven experience in product development, sourcing, and supplier management.

Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships.

Solid understanding of quality control processes and ability to ensure adherence to high standards.

Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.

Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office and merchandising management systems.
