Senior Medical Coder – Profee Coder

We are seeking experienced and certified Senior Profee Medical Coders with strong expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS-II, and Modifiers, along with excellent communication skills.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of Profee Coding experience in multiple specialties, including:
• Evaluation & Management (Inpatient and Outpatient)
• Anesthesia
• Behavioral Health / Psychiatry
• Cardiology
• Gastroenterology
• General Surgery
• Home Health
• Nursing Homes
• Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Orthopedics
• Primary Care
• Transitional Care Management (TCM)
• Annual Wellness Visit (AWV)
• Spine Surgery
• Mandatory: Candidates must have hands-on experience in at least two of the specialties listed above.
• Research and resolve complex or unusual coding scenarios and denials.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and Non-Medicare state policies is required.

Responsibilities:

• Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT & HCPCS-II codes accurately and completely.
• Follow up with providers/physicians if documentation is missing or unclear.
• Collaborate with clinical personnel regarding documentation.
• Research and resolve complex or unusual coding scenarios.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Science Graduate or Postgraduate.
• Credentials: Current AHIMA/AAPC certification(s).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
• Work Location: Office-based role (Hyderabad).
