Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Development (Rotating Equipment)

Zahroof Global Pvt. Ltd. is the engineering and manufacturing arm of Zahroof Corp. (USA), commercializing the patented PEAK-FLO modular reed valve for reciprocating compressors. Our technology improves compressor performance, reliability, service life, and operating efficiency across oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial gas, and energy applications.

We are building a serious engineering team focused on first-principles design, analytical rigor, and practical validation.

This role is not limited to simulation execution. The candidate must demonstrate strong engineering judgment in defining assumptions, boundary conditions, load cases, and validation strategies.

We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership from concept through design, analysis, prototype, testing, and manufacturing.

• Lead design and development of advanced compressor valve components
• Apply first-principles engineering across:
• Strength of materials
• Fatigue and dynamics
• Thermodynamics
• Fluid mechanics
• Use FEA and CFD as engineering tools not as black-box software
• Define boundary conditions, load cases, modeling assumptions, and validation methodology
• Design and build test rigs for endurance, flow characterization, and reliability validation
• Conduct root-cause analysis of lab or field failures
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes
• Work closely with suppliers and production teams
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical standards

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized accredited institution (mandatory)
• 510 years of hands-on product development experience
• Demonstrated experience designing mechanical components that went into production
• Experience with reciprocating compressors, valves, or rotating equipment
• Strong understanding of FEA and CFD fundamentals (Ansys/Abaqus/OpenFOAM or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Creo or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  

• Masters degree (M.Tech/MS) with thesis work in:
• Fluid mechanics
• Solid mechanics
• Dynamics
• Thermodynamics
• Experience leading a small engineering team
• Experience designing and validating endurance or flow test rigs
• Experience troubleshooting field failures and implementing corrective redesign

This is not a drafting-only role and not a pure simulation execution position. We are looking for an engineer who combines theory, analytical rigor, practical judgment, and leadership.
