Senior Mechanical Engineer

Kavveri Defence & Wireless Technologies is looking for ahands-on Senior Mechanical Engineerto lead the mechanical design and fabrication of RF hardware, includingantennas, radomes, mounts, enclosures, and outdoor assemblies, from concept through production release.

• Material and process selection for RF-compatible mechanical structures aluminium alloys, stainless steel, PCBs, composites, and engineering polymers
• Fabrication-readyCAD models, GD&T drawings, and mechanical BOMsbuilt to a standard that local machine shops and sheet metal vendors can execute without repeated clarification
• Vendor development and management identifying, qualifying, and working with CNC machine shops, sheet metal fabricators, anodising/plating vendors, and polymer/composite suppliers across Bangalore and India
• Hands-on prototype builds and shop-floor troubleshooting, bridging the gap between design intent and real-world manufacturing
• DFM reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and process optimisationto support scalable and repeatable production

• 510 years of experiencein precision mechanical design and fabrication CNC machining, sheet metal, casting, and surface treatments
• Strong familiarity with the fabrication ecosystem knowing where to source, how to negotiate, and how to drive quality from local vendors
• Experience working alongsideRF, electronics, or systems engineerswhere mechanical design directly impacts electrical performance
• Proficiency inSolidWorks or CATIA, with working knowledge ofSTEP/IGES files and drawing revision control
• Experience indefence, aerospace, telecom, or industrial electronics manufacturingis a strong plus
• BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineeringfrom a recognised Indian institution
