About the Role

MVN Engineering Services is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC system design for USA-based projects. This role involves leading mechanical design, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complete HVAC systems including load calculations, ducting, piping, and equipment selection
• Perform cooling & heating load calculations using industry tools (HAP / Trace / similar)
• Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings
• Develop equipment schedules, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local US codes
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and BIM teams
• Review and check design deliverables before submission
• Communicate with international clients and handle design discussions
• Support project timelines and ensure on-time delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 510 years of experience in HVAC design for commercial/residential projects
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and US codes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software (HAP/Trace)
• Good understanding of chilled water systems, VRF, and ventilation systems
• Experience in handling USA-based MEP projects is a must
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in energy modeling and sustainability design
• Exposure to LEED / Green Building standards
• Knowledge of BIM coordination workflows
