Job Description
- Specialized in preparing and reviewing Material Purchase Specifications (MPS) / Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC) for various materials, including plates, tubes, forgings, and pipes etc.
- Experience in resolving the queries of Mills and Manufacturer. Evaluating mill/manufacturer offers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Proficient in international codes for materials (i.e., ASME Sec IIA/IIB, Sec VIII, NACE, APIs, IBR etc)
- Conversant with various Licensors / PMCs / Clients specifications relevant for material requirements
- Collaborating with the design team to ensure MPS aligns with project specifications.
- Reviewing Bill of Materials (BM) and Cutting Plans (CP) for accuracy, compliance and optimization.
- Conversant with fabrication aspects of static equipment, including pressure vessel columns, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, and tanks.
- Experience in design of static equipment using design software (like COMPRESS, PVELITE) and review of fabrication drawings & strength calculations.
